Lake-effect snow: Up to 3 inches expected Friday-Saturday along shoreline
Cold air will stick around through the rest of the workweek, but there is a gradual warmup in store for the weekend. Before temperatures in the 20s return, lake-effect snow chances will be back Friday and Saturday.
A winter weather advisory also is in effect for Lorain, Medina, Summit and Portage counties from 1 p.m. Saturday through 7 a.m. Monday. Those areas could see 3 to 8 inches of snow from a combination of widespread snowfall and periodic lake-effect snow.
